Italian restaurants, sub shops, calzone counters and Italian delis sit next to the pizzerias on this site because most of them bake pizza too, often from the same dough. Full-service Italian restaurants take reservations for dinner, add a tip line for table service (15-20% is customary) and usually run a cheaper lunch menu on weekdays. Sub and sandwich shops are counter-order and quick, with sizes by the inch or in half and whole lengths. Calzones and strombolis are priced like a medium pizza and are large enough to share. Italian delis and bakeries sell by weight and by the piece, and many close mid-afternoon.
The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 9 amβ6 pm. It is closed on Monday, Sunday. Pasadena is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Pasadena follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Family-run! Father cooks while daughter is front of house β love to see it! Their focaccia is so good, and the Daviola pizza was awesome too. The dough was airy and light while the meat was super juicy. Service was excellent: they really take care of you there. They really pay attention π

Iβd give 10 stars if I could. This is the real deal. A family with its roots from Roma serving their food their culture and hospitality with love and care. I came here as a lover admirer of Italian culture searching for some authentic Italian food and a place to possibly practice my Italian language as I learn. I was me with open arms and welcomed by Jessica and Roberto the owners of this place. I had a great cappuccino in the morning to start while working on my laptop. Later for lunch I had an incredible panino that took me back to Italy. The food is authentic, incredible and not over priced like so many places in LA. This family cares about making food with love and building a community. Iβm beyond grateful to have found this place and I will definitely be returning as a local.

Let me start with this: I found my spot. I went with a group of Italian friends for dinner and walking in the door felt like I was back in Rome. The atmosphere was comfortable and the service was genuine. The food... I don't even know where to start, but let me just say from pane to dolce, everything was perfetto. Delize Romane is definitely my new go-to spot!

Very authentic place, stick to origional principles. I ordered focaccia and I thought thereβs curtesy bread and thought itβs good quality! Then I found out it is the focaccia and itβs in Rome form! π owner knows all the food origins like Baba, fun experience there!

4.6/5 ### A Slice of Rome in Pasadena: Delizie Romane β Where Italian Dreams Come True! Nestled on the cozy corner of North Allen Avenue and Villa in East Pasadena (488 N Allen Ave, to be exact), Delizie Romane is the neighborhood bakery that's got me plotting daily detours from my Old Town routine. This family-owned Italian gem, a fresh arrival that's already the talk of Reddit and Yelp, channels the soul of a Roman fornaio right into the heart of SoCal. Opened just months ago, it's the kind of spot where locals swap stories over frothy cappuccinos, and the air hums with the chatter of Italian expats feeling right at home. Open daily from early morning till evening, with a sleek cafe setup spilling onto a welcoming patio β think communal tables under string lights, perfect for soaking up that Pasadena sunshine while pretending you're on a Trastevere stroll. The vibe? Warm, unpretentious, and utterly authentic, like stumbling into Nonna's kitchen after a wrong turn in the Eternal City. But let's talk temptations, because oh, the pastries here are poetry in dough form. Start with the **bomboloni** β these pillowy, sugar-dusted orbs of joy are a far cry from the sad, store-bought i
